Hi, we are a duo called The Ukaye Ukes.
We have been performing at various functions, venues and events around the country including
a theatre tour supporting UK Soul Legend Geno Washington.
We released our first CD “BlueSkies” on Zango Records in March 2011
Supported the reformed Dire Straits (The Straits) at the Royal Albert Hall.
And appeared at the 2015 Isle of Wight Music Festival
We've enjoyed a great reaction while playing Social Clubs, Pubs, Private parties, Golf Club functions, Theatres and Charity Events.
We play music from all eras, (see Song List page) from contemporary artists like, Elbow, Kings of Leon, Status Quo, Bruce Springsteen etc.,
some Motown and great 50's and 60's Classic Rock and Roll, the great standards of yesteryear and even some of our own compositions.
As multi instrumentalists we have recorded our own backing tracks and with our electric/acoustic ukes we can achieve a"full band" live sound.
